This past month I had the pleasure to work with Jenean Carlton, the owner and creative cake artist at Carlton's Cakes! Jenean reached out a few months back looking to create a cohesive brand that would elevate her business visual identity. Our goal was to create a brand that would be elegant, classic, and timeless.
The process for brand development is through an in-depth questionnaire and discovery session in which we dive in and research the needs of the business, the goal that we want to achieve with this new brand and the final outcome. Ready to see her new logo? Take a look at the before and after!

As you can see, we moved away from the whimsical style, to something classic and higher-end. Of course there's nothing wrong with whimsical, it all comes down to your ideal client and the audience that you want to attract so in this case we wanted to have an elegant look which goes in line with her own work and designs.

For those wondering, this website was developed with Wordpress! There are a lot of good platforms out there but of course, my clients come first and in this particular case Wordpress was the best choice. Since her business is growing fast and she has big plans to add courses and workshops, Wordpress will provide the ability to add countless features and expand her offerings as her own business grows in the next couple of years!
