How to define your brand style
This is a topic that I love because I know that defining your style can be a little tricky and daunting. When my clients come to me, they feel their style is all over the place and they need me to make some sense of all the ideas that keep circling in their heads!
I get it! Even within my own business and new ventures, I've been working on, sometimes all the ideas that we have felt like they are all over the place and you don't even know where to start.
The thing that worries most of my clients is their own audience. Who are they talking to? How can they develop a brand that will make sense to their audience and attract the right client? Yes, so many questions!
Well for one, you should start writing!
Yes, you read that correctly, sit down with a notebook just for this purpose. Write down your Why, why do you want to do this, why are you building your business.
Next up, How.
How are you going to make this happen? What steps are you going to take? Are you going to create a new website? Are you going to start marketing? Maybe paying for a few ads on Facebook? Well before you start making the investment for ads and all that good stuff, take time to hone in on your ideal client.
To help you out, I've compiled a list of questions that are what I also use for my own clients. I've created a workbook just for you! If you feel you are in the middle of deciding what route to take, how to attract your clients, and what do you really stand for, then it's time to answer the HARD questions about your values, your ideal client, and what you are working towards!
There's also a little homework at the end of the workbook to help you create a visual guide that you can use to apply to your own brand or even use it in the future with your own designer!
My goal is to help you write down your thoughts about your own brand, and apply these in a way that you can visually see a pattern. Of course, keep in mind that a designer will help you guide you in the right direction for your brand. A brand stylist or strategist will ask the right questions and do the research necessary to create a beautiful brand that will attract your audience and that ideal client.
This workbook is my gift for you to jumpstart that process! Get the download!
